Mindful-Well CDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located at 25 Washington Lane, Suite 3A Wyncote, PA 19095. We are dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services to individuals in need of support yet are often underserved and overlooked.
Our team of experienced and compassionate therapists are committed to helping our clients achieve emotional well-being and personal growth. Through evidence-based practices and a client-centered approach, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for healing and transformation. At Mindful-Well CDC, we believe in the power of therapy to promote positive change and improve the lives of the community as a whole.
Board Members
LaTonya McCurry, LPC, NCC - President
LaTonya McCurry is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and Delaware. She is the CEO of a group practice and Mindful Well, CDC. LaTonya is an experienced psychotherapist specializing in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, anxiety and depression treatment. She has a passion to care for communities by helping clients develop and sharpen their mental health tools and skills to positively transform how they navigate life circumstances.
Victoria Nunnally, BSN, RN-BC - Vice President
Victoria Nunnally is a perinatal board-certified Registered Nurse with over 35 years of maternal-newborn nursing experience, specializing in high risk antepartum, labor and delivery (intrapartum), postpartum, and the well-baby nursing. Victoria received her BSN degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She was the Assistant Director of Nursing and Clinical Liaison at a Practical Nursing program in Philadelphia and a nursing advisor for students interested in attending Camden County College. Victoria is the current Vice-President of the South Jersy Chapter of National Black Nurses Association.
Tamika Stewart, LCSW, MBA - Secretary
Tamika Stewart is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in DE and PA and also has an MBA. She helps driven entrepreneurs and leaders increase profitability through leadership and management development. Tamika is an adjunct professor and business owner.
Cheryl Harris, DNP, MHA, RN, NEA-BC - Treasurer
Dr. Cheryl Harris, is the Director of Care Management at Advocare, LLC. She has 30+ years of nursing experience in various healthcare settings. Cheryl has owned and operated a home care agency, and is skilled in program development, process improvement, leadership, business consulting, mentoring and management.
She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice specializing in Systems-Level Leadership from Thomas Edison State University, Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Louisiana State University-Shreveport, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from LaSalle University. Cheryl is the current President of the South Jersey Chapter National Black Nurses Association.
Rev. Stephanie Atkins, MDiv, MFA - Community Dev and Engag
Stephanie M. Atkins is a native Washingtonian and veteran of the United States Navy. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Communications, a Master of Divinity from the Howard University School of Divinity, and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Nonfiction Writing from Goucher College in Towson, MD.
Rev. Stephanie Atkins is the pastor of Waters Memorial A.M.E. Church. She was elected
Herstoriographer of the Connectional Women in Ministry of the African Methodist Episcopal
Church. Stephanie is the Regional Organizing Director for When We All Vote, serving Maryland and Pennsylvania. She has served on the board for various nonprofit organizations and devotes herself to making life better for others in various ways. She is a member of the Delaware Valley (PA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, serves as the Co-Chair of the Scholarship Committee and a member of the National Trends; Services Facet, spearheading voter initiatives. She is also the President of the newly chartered Lambda Chapter of Rho Alpha Tau, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA sorority/fraternity for writers.

LaTonya McCurry, LPC, NCC - CEO
LaTonya McCurry (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is the CEO and Executive Director of a private mental health group practice in PA and co-owner of private mental health practice in De. Her passion is to assist clients in transforming their emotional "junk drawer" into a "tool box" by sharpening what works, discarding what is no longer helpful and developing new tools to navigate life's complexities.
LaTonya's desire to help goes beyond the individual but extends to the community, which led her to establishing Mindful Well, CDC. During her 20+ years in the behavioral health field, LaTonya has observed that there are groups of people who are often overlooked and underserved. By utilizing her expertise and creating a safe environment to help these groups address their mental health, LaTonya believes that their families, as well as their communities, can be positively impacted.
LaTonya is a member of the American Counseling Association and the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Ohenewaa White-Ra
Ohenewaa D. White-Ra (she/her/hers) is the BSW Program Director and full-time faculty at Alvernia University. She is driven and passionate about intergenerational spaces serving children, youth, and elders. Much of her work focuses on intergenerational learning and positive youth development principles that foster community cohesion and improved quality of life. Ohenewaa is committed to mentoring and joining communities in designing strategies that promote empowerment and self-efficacy and enhance life skills.
With over 25 years of experience as a Social Work professional, macro planner, educator, and leader in the non-profit and higher education sectors, she has successfully managed several programs serving as executive director, project administrator, curriculum developer, and program evaluator. She leverages her skillset as a consultant/trainer for various organizations and businesses and works closely with adult learners to develop their macro planning and public speaking skills.
Ms. White-Ra is determined to affect positive social change in intergenerational communities nationwide through board involvement, organizational leadership, community outreach initiatives, and community youth mentoring. Her membership in CSWE, BPD, and leadership in APHA and NABSW allow her to enhance her knowledge base and competency in the field.
